December 2004 EAB has completed the development of iedp.info, the companion website to the International Executive Development Programmes (IEDP) directory.

November 2004

A website engineered by EAB for Global Market Briefings went live this month, - an independent information resource for global business managers, professional investors, analysts, and entrepreneurs engaged in international trade and investment.

October 2004

André Bottin, EAB's Managing Director has been appointed by the Society of IT Management [SOCITM] as a Project Manager within the E-Democracy National Project (funded by the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister [ODPM]) to create a Funding Sources Database.

September 2004 Stevenage Borough Council's website now conforms to the W3C's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0. EAB was commissioned to modify the entire site and the work was carried out in a few weeks.

August 2004 EAB has completed the re-development of the St Albans City and District Council's website to meet the accessibility guidelines. As a result two recent surveys [Jobsgopublic and Socitm] have confirmed the Council's website is amongst the best in local government for business also for people with a disability. July 2004 Avalon Carpets, supplier and fitter of carpets, carpet tiles, wood and safety flooring, chose EAB to design its brand new site which went live this month.

May 2004 The development of a comprehensive browser based Human Resource toolkit [HR Toolkit] for the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham is now complete. This complex online recruitment application produces all the paperwork and guides HR managers through the entire recruitment process. It was designed to run on the Council's intranet.

April 2004 André Bottin, EAB's Managing Director has been awarded a contract by the Local eGovernment Standards Body - a National Project (funded by the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister [ODPM]) to work on the National Projects database.

March 2004 Smoke-free Herts developed for a local consortium, including all the Hertfordshire District Councils, with funding from the Department of Health. It is a database driven site and is the first website of its kind, listing local smoke free environments in Hertfordshire. At a time when legislation about smoking in public places is hitting the headlines, this is a valuable addition to the local authority site.

February 2004 New website for Passenger Boat Association goes live. A site designed to include details of all the members’ services with links through to other relevant sites. Visitors to the site can search by geographical location or check whether a particular operator is a member of the Association. The site also serves as an information point for the Association’s members.
